The Tour:

The Dead & Company 2015 Tour marked the band's debut, spanning from October to December 2015. This tour followed the success of the Fare Thee Well concerts by surviving Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart. They teamed up with John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge to form Dead & Company. Initially, a single concert was announced for October 31 at Madison Square Garden, which expanded into a full ten-date tour and eventually extended to 22 shows across 16 cities.

Critically, the tour was well-received, with The New York Times noting its "tremendous success" and Billboard describing the shows as "magical." John Mayer's performance was especially highlighted, with a review of the Minneapolis show praising him as the finest 'Jerry' since Jerry Garcia's passing.
