The Artist: Daniel Danger

Daniel Danger is a highly acclaimed illustrator and print-maker whose artistic journey has taken root amidst the serene woods of Massachusetts. His unique creative perspective is deeply rooted in his familial heritage, with a middle school art teacher as a mother and a skilled potter as a father. It's safe to say that a career in accounting was never on the horizon for him.

Danger's own description of his work often dances on the edge of the surreal, weaving intricate narratives that involve overlapping timelines, nods to Sierra point-and-click adventure games, enigmatic number stations hidden in desert landscapes, whispered conversations carried by the wind, and the evocative idea of ghosts meeting their end at the hands of nature's foliage. His creations give life to enigmatic trauma shadow beings born from the haunting stories of kidnapped children, beings that drip with the darkness of wolf shadows. This fascination with the mysterious and the supernatural finds its roots in his love for 1920s children's books.

The Band: Goose

Goose is an American rock band known for their exhilarating live performances and genre-blending sound. The band was formed in Norwalk, Connecticut, in 2016, and they've rapidly gained recognition for their improvisational prowess and dynamic stage presence.

Goose's music is a fusion of various genres, including rock, funk, folk, and electronic elements. They are often associated with the jam band scene due to their penchant for extended improvisational jams during live shows. Their sound is characterized by infectious melodies, intricate guitar work, and a penchant for exploration, which keeps their performances fresh and unpredictable.

The band's lineup consists of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), and Ben Atkind (drums). Goose has released several studio albums and live recordings, with each album showcasing their evolution as musicians and songwriters.

The Venue: The Met, Philadelphia

The Met Philadelphia, often referred to simply as "The Met," is a historic and iconic concert venue located in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
