The Artist: Gregg Gordon

Gregg Gordon isn't your run-of-the-mill concert poster artist. He's a conduit, a translator of the Grateful Dead's spirit into visual poetry. His vibrant hues dance with the music, his lines trace the contours of every groove, and his compositions pulsate with the heartbeat of the crowd. Each Gordon print is a labor of love, infused with the meticulous detail and boundless creativity that only a true Deadhead possesses.

The Band: The Dead & Company

Dead & Company is an American rock band that formed in 2015. The band is made up of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir (guitar and vocals), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums), along with John Mayer (guitar and vocals), Oteil Burbridge (bass, percussion, and vocals), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).

Dead & Company primarily performs Grateful Dead covers and is credited with popularizing Grateful Dead music to a younger audience. The band is known for its long, improvisational live sets, which are often described as being “jam band”-style. Dead & Company has been praised for its ability to capture the spirit of the Grateful Dead, and its concerts have been described as being “like being transported back in time.”

The band has released two studio albums, "Dave's Picks Volume 2" (2016) and "Live/Dead" (2019). Dead & Company has also released a number of live albums, including "Live from Madison Square Garden" (2015) and "Live from the Hollywood Bowl" (2017).

The band has headlined numerous sold-out tours, and it has been estimated that Dead & Company has played for over 3 million fans since its inception. The band is one of the most popular live acts in the world, and it continues to attract new fans of all ages.

The Venue: Citi Field

Citi Field itself becomes a character in this visual symphony. The iconic stadium, usually a stomping ground for baseball legends, transforms into a canvas for sonic exploration. Gone are the hot dogs and foul balls; instead, we're greeted by a kaleidoscope of dancing bears, mischievous terrapins, and a sky that bleeds the colors of a thousand dropped tabs. This isn't just a concert venue; it's a cathedral of sound, a vortex of shared experience, and Gordon's poster is your holy grail, your passport to the heart of it all.
